Now I’ve turned twenty four
I’m not a kid anymore
I’ve faced odds, I’ve gone to war
I’m wiser than I was before
All the lessons I’ve learned
All the ideas I’ve conveyed
Made me who I am today
I’ve worked hard to meet their demand
In me they have a lot to expect
I will continue to show love and respect
He’s still searching for the right track
We sometimes quarrel, we sometimes shout
But I’m proud of how he turned out
Always biting my hand and clawing my thighs
She can only be tamed by the presence of fries
Yet she has the prettiest of eyes.
So much to love, where do I start?
I knew we were destined soul mates
Found her five years later by fate
She is the blade of my knife
She is the wind that guides my sails
My journey is incomplete without her gales
When I fall, she returns me to my feet
She makes me whole, makes me complete
Without her, I will face defeat
Finds joy in lakes, pools and ponds
He looks big and yellow on the outside
But he’s just a playful child on the inside
I’m proud to have him as an ally
I declare him my best friend
We’ll be buddies to the very end
But he’s still one of my best mates
Sometimes I want to break his knees
But he’s like a brother to me
We’re both big fans of the crow
We both watched LP and slipknot
More concerts, we’ll give it a shot
They are the leaves that make up my tree
There are others I’ve failed to mention
That doesn’t mean they’re not under my attention
There’s more in the future to explore
There’ll be good times and conflict
The future is something I can’t predict
I seriously don’t know where to begin. I don’t know what to say. Christine’s dog, Beano passed away today. She had to be put to sleep due to her failing health and the spreading of cancerous cells.
I’ll avoid launching into detail on her deterioration and illness in this time or mourning. Instead, I’d like to honor her by highlighting the memories I had with her during my short period with her.
I met Beano late last year after getting together with Christine. She was old, had cancerous tumors forming under her hind leg, failing eyesight due to cataracts and limited mobility from her aging joints. Oddly, she didn’t strike me as old or frail on first impression. Instead, I find her to be strong and willful. Despite her failing health, she had the determination to walk around and even snap at anything she assumes to be food. (Because of her poor eyesight, one must practice caution when feeding her by hand. There are times where she’s mistaken fingers for tasty juicy doggy treats.) I’ve even witness her tear through a piece of rawhide as if it was made of wet tissue.
Walking Duchess and Cloud is usually energetic; fast paced and demands a lot of energy from me. Walking Beano was a relaxing experience equivalent to a leisurely stroll. I’ve always found her wobbly walk with her cone swaying from side to side to be cute. It is usually accompanied by the sound of gentle taps from her claws tapping on the road. She is very cunning too. Taking advantage of the new guy (me), she would divert me to areas she usually wouldn’t be allowed to explore during her regular walks. Knowing I’m new and I don’t know her regular walking path.
For a normal person, Seeing Beano for the first time would draw out feelings of indifference or maybe pity for her sorry state and thinking her to be better off abandoned or discarded. For a dog lover like myself, I have a deep sense of respect and admiration for Beano. To me, I see her as a dog that’s seen and experienced life, acquiring may valuable life’s lessons and wisdom. She may be a dog, but she’s been though life’s long road. 17 years may mean nothing to a human. But to a dog, it’s a long life. A life Christine’s family and I will miss.
We took Cloud,( better known as Boboi) Christine’s Labrador retriever to the vet the other day. He’s been regurgitating his food, shedding a bit of fur and losing a li’ll weight lately. Naturally we’re a bit worried bout this and we decided to forgo the Debenhams closing sale in favor of finding out if there’s anything wrong with our lumbering yellow four-legged friend.

He seemed pretty eager to go since he didn’t need any encouragement to get in the car since he leaped in all by himself without our permission! What a rascal! He spent most of the time slobbering all over the upholstery and enjoying the scenery outside the window.

I can almost imagine that golden giant returning to his cozy kennel and rest his lumbering mass on his favorite little corner, looking out into the world beyond that gate and thinking to himself quietly “Ahh…What a day!”

Thats all Kids! See you in my next adventure!

I WANT MY OWN ADVENTURE TOO!!
Hey! Wussup people? Its been awhile since I last wrote in my li’ll blog here. I’ve been busy dividing most of my time between my webcomic and the two girls I love the most.

As you all know from my past entry, Fidi, my Spitz for 9 years has disappeared. I was pretty devastated by this since I’m very attached to her. My wonderful girlfriend understood my loss and to my surprise, got me a bundle of joy.

Smile for the camera!
Her name is Duchess and she’s one hell of a rascal! We adopted this four legged chewing machine from a lady named Carmen in Puchong on the 28th of February. Christine saw her ad in the papers and thought a puppy will be a perfect gift for me.

The 2 most important girls in my life!
Christine called up Carmen and we made an appointment to meet on Tuesday. We then spend the next few days online researching on beagle care and training methods.

Taking a li'll nap
On the day of the appointment, we drove up to Puchong and met up with Carmen who then took us to her home where she has one male and 2 female Beagle puppies awaiting adoption. The male puppy was charming but unfortunately he’s already been reserved. One female was kinda quiet while the one was just full of energy and mischief.

She looks a li'll tired
It was a hard decision to make but after careful consideration, we picked the active female and that’s how Duchess was adopted into our family. We spent the next day shopping for food, a nice pen, collar, leash and toys for out new puppy.
She's biting my hand!
For a female, Duchess is pretty tomboyish and loves to play rough. She’ll be prancing and skipping at you and gnawing at your heels. Her claws are like li’ll hook-like talons and her teeth are like rows of sharp needles. Trust me! When she’s in the mood for play, expect a li’ll pain.
